if I don't do something, this is liable to explode in real life, and none of us want that to happen I have a feeling...

So yeah, alooootta shit going on lately. You've all seen the To Do List (if you haven't, look up). It's long, and 99% of it will NOT get done in the year 2009 if things continue the way they're going for my bunch (family). From just what I can remember, we've had to repair a washer, (still need to) buy a new car/repair our car (either is going to cost more money then we can afford right now), get ME a car, save up some money for college, and a few other things I can't think of. And those are just the financial stresses. It's nothing compared to the emotional stresses we're going through, alot of that caused by the financial stress. Now I like to think I'm pretty good at handling stress, at least for a while (then I go boom...not pretty). My mom on the other hand has the coping ability of a 3 year old sometimes. I recently emptied my room of most of the stuff I don't use/play with any more (I. E. about 50 Lego sets, and some general crap out of my closet) and she could barely handle that. And just now, a cardboard poster fell off my wall and destroyed (and I mean DE-STROYED) about the last Lego I had in my room. T'was a car garage of about 3,000 pieces, which means rebuilding it would take well over 40 hours. I absolutely refuse to rebuild it and mom's literally in tears over it right now. I try to act like her whining doesn't get to me, and it doesn't for a time, but eventually I just know I'll end up breaking down at some point.

I could go on for literally hours but that'd seem like whining rather than venting. Basis of the situation is that my family needs to pull about $20,000 for mom a car, $5,000 for me a car, $50,000 or so (per year) for my tuition (trying to go to Vanderbilt), and a whole mess of nerves out of our collective ass over the next 2 years or we're blatantly and royally fucked...

I was rereading this to make sure I didn't make any major blunders in typing and it reminded me of something. How the FUCK does my family (sans me) manage to keep any faith in some higher power... I just can't figure it...
