First of all, I'm out for Christmas officially now. Got out on Wednesday. Also on Wednesday, I took my Cisco final. And FUCKING PASSED IT! The teacher has been blabbing that the test was "unpassable" and that no one had passed it in the 8 years he's taught the course. Well, this year 4 people passed it! Hells yea! Unfortunately though 5 had to pass to get a pizza party, but whatever, that wasn't my goal.

I need to ask y'all for something too. A couple of things really. One is that does anyone know a good screen-recording program that isn't overly taxing on a system? I don't need it for anything specific, but it'd be cool to have just in case.

The other thing I need to ask about is Christmas music. Anybody know some artist/song combos of metal artists covering Christmas songs? I've run across "Carol of the Bells" being covered by both Metallica and August Burns Red. Great songs, but 2 songs do not an album make. So...pretty much anything would be fairly helpful, 'cause the "classics" are getting old...

Eh, pretty much everything from above applies here too. And there's one other thing. Mountain Dew makes a blue drink called "Voltage". Now I don't drink for obvious reasons, but my folks do a bit so I know a little about alcohol. We have a bottle of Mtn. Dew Voltage that's like a year old. The stuff smells JUST LIKE hard liquor! Doesn't taste like it, but it might go well in a mixed drink. Just throwing that out there.

Pardon my French, but most new games fucking suck! They're either too...out there...to make any sense (LBP for instance) or so realistic, I may as well go outfuckingside! (NFS Shift) I just started playing the new MX vs. ATV game, Reflex, and then I stopped playing it. It sucked that hard. The fun of the old games was that you could not only take an MX bike canyon-hopping without any risk, but you could also grab a monster truck and chase said MX racer as he flew across the skies. In the new one, you can't even poke youw wittle footie into the mean ole gwound without falling on your ass! I mean, why the hell do I need a video game to tell me not to do that? I could grab a friend's MX bike and go run around town. Frankly, I think Resistance 2 was the last game that took enough of both unrealistic (alternate reality) stuff and realistic elements to make it fun. Anyone care to say otherwise?

Let's see here, I had a bit of a list. *Rummages around* Ah here we go.

Despite the mountain of stuff I SHOULD have spent my break doing, I wrought myself away to play Assassin's Creed II. There is no way for me to describe the amounts of awesome in this game. The levels are beautiful, even though I don't have am HDTV (could have gotten one today though). The gameplay is astounding with several upgrades on the premise of the first game, including fully customizable weapon setups. Want a sword and a knife ya bore? Sure! How about a mace and a metal glove? There ya go, much more creative. I didn't even complete the game and I ended up with like 15 main weapons (sword replacements) and 8 or so secondaries. Again, I didn't complete the game since it was a rental and the thing is nothing short of huge. It's in 15th century Italy, so there's far more terrain to cover. And that's kind of it without ruining anything in the game. 2 Am probably isn't the best time to review a game you haven't played in 3 days because your brother's had your system locked up with that game. (He got further than I did, bug surprise.)

My YouTube account is no longer alive, like I said midweek. I didn't actually download my videos because I deemed them too shitty to worry about. Frankly, I feel great that it's gone...not really sure why.

In TF news, I found an entire ALBUM of potentially TF-related songs. I plugged it on my Twitter thing earlier, but hardly anyone reads that, and that's the point. Anyway, Breaking Benjamin recently released a new album called "Dear Agony". All the songs have references to being something other than human. Reinforcing this idea is the fact that they made a parody of an old video game that I've never heard of called Altered Beast, and called it Altered Benjamin. Whole premise of the game is to increase the main character's powers/abilities through changing him into different animals. In the BB version, the character from the old game is replaced by the lead singer for BB. Hell, he may be an otherkin or something, I don't know, but this game leans credibility to that theory.

So, personal stuff. Like I said in Broadcast, there's alot of stuff I could be doin during this wonderful break from the stresses of school, not the least of which is getting caught up in my networking class, which I really, REALLY need to do. But I'm lazy and overworked in school alot of the time, so yeah.

Ok, Thanksgiving. It's a day everyone hates initially because of the fact that they have to put up with their annoying families, but then end up enjoying because of the good food drowning out the annoying people. Mine was no different. Had several cubic buttloads of food (don't think on that too much...you'll want eyebleach) and had to put up with the bible-thumpers. Oddly enough, we watched 4 Christmases the night before Thangsgiving and there was a super religious couple on there... Anyway, my cousins are fun to good with (with the exception of a couple, they're more annoying that the church-ladies)and that soothed the pain. So did the Southern comfort food...and there's still 2 uncooked turkeys left. Aaaaaand that's about it...

That title sure got your attention didn't it? Feh, just a reference to Thanksgiving being sometime this week and me being out of school for it. More important business now. I could still use help with that "furry meme" I'm working on. Even went and noted Dragoneer (admin of FA) but he's yet to respond, and I doubt he will. So again, any help you can provide on this thing would be appreciated.
Also found a new webcomic for y'all to blow some time on. [link] I haven't read but the first couple of pages, but it has anthromorphic animals and funny situations so I figured I'd put that out there.

Like I said earlier, I'm off for Thanksgiving from Wednesday through the weekend. Wonderful little break, but I'm so damn far behind in my Cisco networking class that I really can't afford to not be in school since we only have like 15 days of class left.
Oh, I also got the crap music off of my computer. Ended up freeing up a couple gigs of space on my HD, which is great considering it's only a 40gig HD. Now I have to replace more than half of that... Oh well, fucking the system over is worth the time.
